"Bruno Buozzi, un eroe"

Bruno Buozzi (1881-1944) Prima operaio metallurgico, poi sindacalista, Mussolini cercò di convincerlo a diventare fascista, cosa che lui non ha mai fatto e per questo fu minacciato di morte molte volte. Andò in Francia per difendere i diritti degli operai italiani, in seguito catturato dai nazisti e consegnato ai fascisti che lo mandarono al confino. Quando fu liberato si unì alla Resistenza, catturato di nuovo alla fine della guerra dai nazisti, fu fucilato insieme ad altre 13 persone nel cosiddetto "eccidio della Storta".

Bruno Buozzi (1881-1944) was at first a metal worker, and later a trade unionist. Mussolini tried to convince him to become a fascist, which he never did in spite of the death threatens he more than once received. He went to France to defen...d the rights of Italian workers, was captured by the Nazis and later handed over to the fascists who sent him into exile. When he was released he joined the resistance, but was captured again by the Nazis towards the end of the war, and shot along with 13 other people in the so-called "Massacre of the Storta".
